Description
Brandylane Publishers, a publishing house in Richmond, VA, sought out to have a local artist complete the illustration for their annual RVA Book Lover's Festival. As a Virginia Commonwealth University Alumni, I was happy to take the opportunity to illustrate the city I enjoyed for so many years.
The festival features authors, literary craftsmen, vendors, and children's activities. A portion of the proceeds from the Festival are donated to The READ Center, a local Richmond organization that focuses on adult literacy and health literacy, and ExCell, a local Richmond organization that focuses on childhood literacy.

I worked with Brandylane's team to deliver a beautiful and romanticized view of Richmond with a diverse group of folks enjoying nature and stories.
