In 2023, In-N-Out Burger purchased the naming rights to the Autoclub Raceway at Pomona, renaming it to In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip. The company has a long history with car culture and drag racing and it was important to Owner & President, Lynsi Snyder, to leave In-N-Out's mark on the drag strip.
My design team and marketing department worked directly with Lynsi and the NHRA to rebrand all of the signage in the facility. Our goal was to have every large scale piece immediately recognizable as In-N-Out before you even fully enter the grandstands, so we stuck with clean and classic treatments. One area that the team was more creative was with the West grandstand in which I illustrated the iconic yellow arrow logo doing a burnout and the palm line being blown back.
The individual signs pictured below are a selection of ones I created, while some others on the strip were created by my fellow design teammates.
