In-N-Out Burger 75th Anniversary Commemorative Artwork
Since 1948, In-N-Out Burger has been known for their enduring quality and service. Every year they commission a custom commemorative anniversary artwork to celebrate those principles and release the artwork on a t-shirt through the online company store and in each restaurant. This year, In-N-Out also held a festival open to the public to showcase their history, customer centric spirit, and to say, "Thank you!"
For In-N-Out's 75th year, I had the honor of fully illustrating the commemorative artwork. Owner & President, Lynsi Snyder, had the vision of encapsulating everything that has contributed to the success and the heart of the company since its launch in 1948. I illustrated and collaged a timeline detailing important associates, products, locations, and more to capture this idea. In the base of the arrow it starts with the first store and founding family all the way through to the tip of the arrow ending in serving the customer which is representative of In-N-Out's future success. I worked closely with Lynsi and Marketing Director, Jeff Dreher, to hone in on the representation we were looking for in the elements included.

This digital painting took nearly 400 hours and has over 2,200 layers of hand drawn elements. Check out ino75th.com to see a fun digital application of my artwork and blown up elements on the special celebratory website. Please also feel free to zoom in on the image below to get the full scope of detail.

In-N-Out Burger 75th Anniversary Festival
To kick off In-N-Out's 75th year, we threw its first public anniversary festival held at the In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip. 23,000 people were in attendance to enjoy a day full of car shows, drag racing, live bands, a benefit concert, games, fair rides, an incredible history museum, and plenty of merch and burgers to go around. Our marketing department was responsible for all of the collateral for the event and I personally created the logo and brand look. Along with my team, we completed signage, emails, flyers, magazine ads, social media content, digital ads and web banners, the program, maps, tickets, and merchandise leading up to the big day.
